You can create new emails in a number of ways. They can be created from scratch, from a UmailEmail template, from an existing file, or from a web site. Emails from scratch are either HTML or text, and are created purely from a blank slate. A number of professionally-designed templates are available by type and industry, and serve as a solid basis for email design. Existing files from your desktop or network can also be utilized as the basis for your messaging by selecting them as your source files. Finally, you can import any web page to use as your email message.
Once an email has been created from one of these methods, you can select to edit them with a "simple" editor or our unique WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) visual editor. The simple editor provides editing icons that appear directly over the email design. They allow users to modify text, font, background color, images, and so on. The advanced WYSIWYG editor is a full-featured visual editor that has the familiar features of Microsoft Word. All copy and design elements are manipulated with a comprehensive toolkit of editing features.
The UmailEmail image gallery provides a central location for all user images. Images are uploaded from any desktop, network, or website with ease, and are then ready for use with any email design. They can be previewed in both thumbnail and full size prior to selection. New versions of existing emails can be created to facilitate minor design or campaign shifts. The “To:”, “From:”, and “Subject:” lines of your email can be personalized, as can elements in the body of an email such as the greeting.
At the bottom of every email, UmailEmail provides recipients with an automatic unsubscribe link and a link to forward the email to friends. Unsubscribes are automatically disabled in the related list, and those who receive a forwarded email are given the option to opt in.
